Music has been at the heart of Carol Rose Duane's journey from an early age. After completing two degrees at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory of Music, she went on to win national competitions, and perform with colleagues at the Kennedy Center and other venues in the Mid-Atlantic area. While continuing to perform, her love of music and people led her to also teach music to all ages in a variety of settings, including private and group lessons, and at the university level.

Carol Rose Duane’s musical journey continues as she now focuses on bringing her caring manner and the comfort of soothing, therapeutic harp music to the bedside of those in hospital, nursing, and hospice facilities. She is highly qualified in this area, having earned her credentials as a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP). Carol Rose shares her compassion and love of music to those who can most benefit from it.

CMP certification is earned through the rigorous Music for Healing and Transition Program. This national program trains and certifies musicians in the art and science of providing therapeutic music for body, mind, and spirit. Why? Music can decrease pain, lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, stabilize heart rate, and more. Learn more at www.MHTP.org
